History

Ian Stoddern of WMAF GB trained under Mr Lam in Hong Kong before returning to the UK in 1981 with his 1st dan and opened the first WMAF dojo in the UK.
Grandmaster Lam Wun Sun was a former Seigokan Sensei from Hong Kong that under the influence of Gong Fu and other martial arts created his own style, the Tsuen Mo Luen. However, even after that, he still teaches the Seigokan techniques and also the Seigokan Kata, Tsuki-no-kata and Uke-no-kata, created by Seigo Tada Hanshi.
WMAF GB closed in 2002 when Ian Stoddern Shihan left the UK to live permanently in the USA.
Somerset Karate and Hakken-do were formed immediately after, with the senior instructors forming schools in separate towns to teach Tsuen Mo Luen.
Richard Marsh Sempai studies Karatedo since its 14 years old.
In 1992 joined WMAF of Great Britain. In 2002 is awarded Black Belt by Ian Stoddern Shihan and received its 1st Dan in 2003. In 2009 open his own Dojo, the Wiveliscombe Martial Arts, teaching Karatedo and Kickboxing. In March 2011 requested the Seigokan membership by email, signing the Seigokan Commitment.
